Hi Jeneice, thanks for your comment – as far as cooking for one books go, my favorite is Judith Jones’ “The Pleasures of Cooking For One” (http://www.amazon.com/The-Pleasures-Cooking-Judith-Jones/dp/0307270726/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338384821&sr=8-1), which may be a little outdated but is still really helpful. For a more contemporary book, I also really enjoy Jamie Oliver’s “Meals In Minutes,” which isn’t a book for one person but has many recipes for two whose quantities can easily be reduced.
